The Quality Inn & Suites Ridgeland is a very well maintained property which should require minimal PIP monies upon purchase. The hotel originally opened in 1993 as a Comfort Inn and operated under a Comfort franchise until just recently when it was converted to a Quality Inn & Suites hotel. The property has seen relatively little to no change in operating statistics since its conversion. The hotel includes both interior and exterior corridors with approximately 25 percent of the guestrooms opening onto an indoor atrium and pool area. These guestrooms are classified as mini-suites complete with wet bars, microwave ovens and refrigerators.
The hotel is situated on 2.3 acres of land adjacent to Interstate 95, the major north-south route along the east coast of the country. Ridgeland is located approximately 20 miles north of the South Carolina/Georgia border. It is about 35 miles from both Savannah, Georgia and the resort community of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It is also approximately 75 miles southwest of Charleston, South Carolina. Ridgeland’s location gives it excellent access to the seaport terminals located in both Savannah and Charleston.
